Do you think I should start my small online business now, when the country is in economic crisis?

I want to start a T-Shirt business online and have some really great ideas. I want to do this ASAP because I don’t want anyone else to steal my ideas. But I know that right now is probably not the BEST time to start a business because of the country’s economic situation. Do you think I should do it any way? Why or why not? Or should I just wait a couple years?

I would suggest you not INVEST some serious cash in infrastructural things. First get a feel of WHAT AN ONLINE BUSINESS is. Then you will have that GUT FEELING. Since selling Off line & Online are two different things, you must first get acquainted with it.
The most important factor for any online business is CONSTANT SUPPLY OF TARGETED VISITORS.
Now can be a good time to start an online business. Certain markets can prosper in hard times. You can write an ebook to solve problems. Some niches which might work well in the current economy include:
- foreclosures (lots of foreclosures in the US now)
- how to beat the recession
- save money on gas
etc
