Group Discusses Plan to Stop Asian Carp
Representatives from several government agencies, including the EPA, Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Army Corp of Engineers, met in Chicago this afternoon at the Metcalfe Federal Building in the Loop, to talk about the Federal Government’s plan to stop the Asian Carp from making it into the Great Lakes.

Only government could come up with something as stupid as this: The new plan to keep Asian carp out of the Great Lakes is to close the Chicago Sanitary and Ship canal three or four days a week for the next couple of months.
