Where to Rent Cheap Textbooks Online for College
Dishing out cash every semester for new books that cost a bundle is probably one of the biggest gripes among college students. Renting, however, is an alternative that can save you money even when compared to buying used. There are many legitimate online companies that rent books and have been doing so for years. Below we’ve run down the list of our favorite online textbook rental sites so you …

I have a marketing background, so don’t need a general marketing course. I need to know the products, language, terms, metrics, etc… of online advertising in 2007. For example, what categories of advertising “products” exist? What kinds of fees can be charged, how are fees determined (I know based on traffic, clicks, but more specifically…?) How is Web advertising marketed/sold to advertisers, particularly in the health and medicine arena. I want a primer on the subject, but would also like to see some quantitative examples relevant to the business in 2007. A “Dummys” book would be a good start, but an up-to-date one doesn’t exist. Maybe there are 1-2 day courses. I found one via a Google search, but maybe someone out there has a recommendation. I’m not too worried about cost, as long as I can get up the learning curve quickly. Many thanks to all who will answer!

Try this site:
searchenginewatch.com
That’s a good place to start, so you won’t make any mistakes when first making your web site.
There’s lots of ways to advertise your site, from paying to asking for reciprocal links for free…but watch out for the “link farms” where you can sign up for reciprocal links and they take yours…google will not be happy.
Don’t pay for search engine submission…do it yourself to only three search engines: yahoo, google and msn. All the little search engines will crawl the big guys with time. With google it may take up to six months before they recognize your site…so when you get your site, enter it into google.
Make sure your keywords match your content on each page you have on your site. meta keywords.
I’ve also found htmlgoodies real helpful to make yourself a site. Don’t go for the “What you see is what you get” Template sites: wysiwyg If too many people have that same templet, google thinks of your site as being “spam” site.
Hmmm…well that’s enough for today…you’ve got lots to learn.
Wish you the best.

I mean to say any kind of earning the money online like posting pictures, reading emails or reviewing websites?
Answer by troublewolf54
Nothing is really free. Everyone I know that has a on-line job has had to invest something. Beware of those sites promising you will make loads of money. The only money made will be by them when you are talked into buying their dvds or books.
Check your local business and what they are hiring. Perhaps something might open up there. I’ve been checking into on-line jobs..they are not easy to find andI don’t have money to start a business.
But i will tell you what goes good..Animal supplies, like for dogs and cats. my one friends nephew started one on the side, all on the computer, and had to quite his white collar job, it was going great guns!
On your ideas, have you googled and looked for such? I know, that’s a stupid question, but just thought I would ask.

I want to study business marketing online while I baby-sit. Well… when the baby is asleep of course! Any recommendations? Hopefully it’s an online college you’ve actually experienced so I can get a more accurate answer. Thanks!

My older sister is doing the University of Phoenix and absolutely loves it. I can’t tell you much more than that but it’s legitimate, we went to her graduation for her (first) Bachelor’s and everything.
She’s also doing business as well, at least that’s what her Bachelor’s was. I think now she’s doing Computer Science or something like that

I plan to start a career as a loan officer and want to do business primarily on the internet, from home, as well as get the training on-line and/or by phone. I’m thinking about joining either Apex Lending or Premier Mortgage. Trancontinental Lending Group is also an option. Anyone have feedback regarding these companies? I’m really leaning towards Apex Lending because I like the business structure, however there is a one-time 0 fee for purchasing software that allows you to run the business on the internet and from home. The software has the 1003 appl, credit score/info viewing, matches programs to client info, manages your accounts, funds, can do business in atleast 20 states, etc. Is having to pay this fee a norm when getting started, if so, are there companies that have a lower start up fee? I have taken a 24-hour mortgage broker course in Florida recently, but haven’t taken the licensing exam yet. I will need a mentor for the first few deals and would like to get started soon.

I also work for Aapex mtg that’s based in fl. working from home is cool but it’s best if you can go into an office and do work there. if you’re home you might bs more than if you were in an office, there fore you can get more work done. It’s just a suggestion. You should look around first before you make a decision.

I have a small home-based business and do not have money to spend on expensive software or monthly subscriptions. I would prefer to use something online that doesn’t require me to download anything so I can access it from any computer and my phone. Are there any truly free programs like this?
Answer by 6 de asada con todo
probably not.
if it is a small home-based business, then just use microsoft excel or word. i’ve used excel and word for my accounting homework and it wasnt really hard to use. and if u cant afford excel, then go to open office and download their free version of excel.

It is just me running the business as a sole trader. There are no employees, virtually no capital (except my laptop) and no physical goods. Turnover is less than k. Do I need to take out business insurance or can I go without it? The only reason I ask is because the bank has a business insurance question section on the business bank account application form. Thanks in advance.
