What is the average square feet rent price to open business in DC, Virginia or Maryland area. Which is the cheapest area
Answer by thunder_dan2
Depends on what type of business you’re running. Office space can go from 1000+ for an office in downtown DC. The further you go out from the DC, the cheaper it gets. Maryland will probably be the cheapest of the 3. VA would be marginally cheaper unless you were in Crystal City or Arlington. You can view

I have a question for my personal finance class that asks:
Search the internet and name your sources for a small business insurance package. Identify basic areas of risk that they cover. How much would such a package cost?
I’ve found the basic areas of risk covered, however i can’t find price ranges anywhere and all the offices are closed when i call, except for one that said they can’t do it over the phone…
Answer by mbrcatz17
Well, they can’t do it over the phone because there are way, way too many variables.
A safe range to use, is 0 to 0,000. Yep, 95% of small business insurance packages will fall in that range.
It depends on what they do, what they need covered, where they are located, and of course, the rating basis.
Sorry, I don’t think this is much help.

I own a domain name (which I won’t list here) that is related to buzz marketing. (It’s a fairly common two-word phrase, a .com, and there are no hyphens or numbers or anything that detracts from it.)
I reserved it several years ago to use with my business, but only started developing a project for it in the last few months (though have nothing online yet). Recently, I was offered $2,500 for it — completely out of the blue.
While I’m not yet sold on selling it (for any amount), I’m thinking pretty seriously about it. Can anyone suggest reliable appraisal services, domain brokers, auctions, or other resources to help me evaluate what I have and, should I choose to sell, maximize the return on my investment? Thank you!

I need to know the market price on support of business software. I need this to argue towards one of my clients why I want to take a really high price for maintenance and support for the software my startup (with two employees) makes. My company creates software for business intelligence and provides a complete solution with statistics datawarehouse etc. I have already had a look at the company MySQL who take 5000$ for their premium service (since I am a startup with a lot fewer employees, this price is too low), so research for other small companies to see what they take. What I specifically need you to do is to research around, and give me a list in excel with the following columns:
Name of company, link to list of prices, price per year of maintenance, price per hour of support (if provided).
Please state your price and the number of companies you will provide this statistic for.
