Should I pay 2,000 a month for a building for my business or go into public schools rent free? The only bad thing about the public schools is that I have to carry my equipment around with me. This means wear and tear on my equipment and me. Also I’m having to spend alot of money on fuel to drive to and from the schools. Help!
Answer by Whats Up Doc
Pay the rent. People are leery of businesses that don’t have a permanent address. If you need to go to a school occassionally then do so. But you will come out further ahead with a permanent place.

I’m curious, because potential stock buyers need this information to help judge if they are going to invest or not.
If corporations have to provide this information, where can one find it?
Answer by Common Sense-try it!
No they don’t. Only companies that sell stock to the public have those disclosure requirements per the SEC.

I can see why your confused. That question does not really make sense. The key word “public” means your issuing an IPO and the only risk is that no one will by the stock. The issue with going public is usually cost and meeting regulatory guide lines. Now if you take the word “public” out then the answer is easy. Lets say you wanted to start your own business. Then the list would look something like this. Under capitalization, insufficient sales (both combine to make you not hit break even), competition, flood, fire, theft, injury claims, mis-management. That list pretty much applies to any business. If you want to clarify your question a bit more I can probably help you a little more.

Should I open my business (paying 2,000 a month for rent) or go rent free into public schools?
The only bad thing about the schools is that i have to carry my equipment in with me and it’s pretty heavy. The only bad thing about the business is the rent and utilities and all the pressure.Help I can’t decide what to do?

I am in Pharmaceutical Marketing and am thinking that eventually, I really need to do something more meaningful/enjoyable, even for less money. I’d like to teach biology.
I have a M.Sc. degree in Microbiology and live in N.J.
Can someone who has done it tell me the most expedient path towards getting towards this goal – while still working full in my current position? Any things you find really rewarding, regrets? Looking for some career/life advice.
Thanks

Why?
Dozens of countries have public health insurance, and many have single payer insurance, where all citizens are automaticall covered unless they opt out.
And yet, in EVERY SINGLE one of these countries, private insurance still exists. Not one has driven all private insurance companies out of business.
So what proof do you have backing up your claim? Where has this happened in the past? Are you just speculating, without any evidence at all? What makes you think our situation will be different than every other country?
